A Perpetual Public Charitable Trust Fund established by Trust Deed and endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient.
 

PURPOSE OF THE MEMORIAL FUND

The Gift Fund is established and maintained solely for the purpose of providing money, property or benefits to Deductible Gift Recipients, or for the establishment of Deductible Gift Recipients to achieve the advancement of education particularly in the field of Australian History with its major emphasis upon the participation of Australians in the Great War 1914-1918 (WWI) by all and every means including:

(a) The provision in conjunction with public educational establishments
and institutions of learning and instruction which have Deductible Gift Recipient status of the opportunity for and endowment of scholarships principally for younger Australians to study and research all or any aspect(s) of Australia’s participation in WWI;

(b) the encouragement and support of the provision of courses in primary, secondary and tertiary education leading to a wider knowledge and better understanding of that participation;

(c) the conduct of research and the publication and dissemination of material concerning those who served in the Australian Forces in that War;

(d) the assistance of persons bodies and institutions seeking knowledge and guidance in understanding the actions and campaigns in that War in which Australians participated, and

(e) to the extent not otherwise covered by the above objectives the advancement of public education and awareness with the aim of perpetuating the memory of the achievements of Australians who participated in that War.
