General (Retd) The Honourable David Hurley AC CVO DSC agreed to remain as a FFFAIF Honorary Patron, following completion of his term as Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia and as immediate Past Patron-in-Chief. Thank you, General Hurley for granting our association this honour. General Hurley has also accepted an Honorary Membership to continue his association with the FFFAIF.<\/p>\n

\nto the Western Front and Blighty<\/span><\/p>\n

On the 14th July members embarked on a 12 day tour following in the footsteps of the original Anzacs across the Western Front.<\/p>\n

On the 26th July members embarked on another 12 day memorable tour through France to Normandy and across the Channel to Blighty.<\/p>\n

\nto the Western Front and Gallipoli<\/span>
\nincluded\u00a0several visits to\u00a0Anzac Cove.<\/p>\n

Members embarked on 2nd July to\u00a0 spend 14 days on the Battlefields of the Western Front<\/strong> following in the footsteps of the men of the First AIF and 13 nights in Turkey to visit the battlefields of the Gallipoli<\/strong> Campaign.<\/p>\n
