Nine Australian Soldiers who fought in the Battle of Fromelles in France were formally identified at the 2018 Fromelles Identification Board in April. In its announcement, The Australian Army acknowledged the work of The Fromelles Association of Australia, the original Fromelles project team and the forensic specialists who all worked and contributed to these outcomes.<\/p>\n

Guests\u00a0of\u00a0Honour at the Fromelles Association AGM will\u00a0be\u00a0from The Australian Army Unrecovered\u00a0War\u00a0Casualties,\u00a0Fromelles\u00a0Project\u00a0Team,\u00a0and\u00a0there\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0an\u00a0update\u00a0on the quest\u00a0to find\u00a0identities\u00a0for\u00a0all\u00a0those\u00a0recovered\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0ground\u00a0at\u00a0Pheasant Wood.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Fromelles\u00a0Association\u00a0of\u00a0Australia invites those with an interest in the Battle of Fromelles to its Annual\u00a0General\u00a0Meeting on Sunday 29 July 2018\u00a0at C<\/b>astle Hill<\/b> <\/b>RSL<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>Club<\/b>, 77\u00a0Castle\u00a0Street,\u00a0Castle\u00a0Hill.<\/p>\n

There\u00a0will also be\u00a0guests\u00a0invited\u00a0to\u00a0share\u00a0in\u00a0various\u00a0aspects\u00a0of the\u00a0Fromelles\u00a0discovery, and There will also be\u00a0discussion of the\u00a0content\u00a0for\u00a0inclusion\u00a0in the Association’s recently\u00a0created\u00a0web-site: www.fromellesremembered.wordpress.com.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
