On each of these evenings the Memorial closed with a special Choir performance by Sing Australia, followed by the playing of\u00a0either a piper&#8217;s Lament or The Last Post.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#000000;\">The choir&#8217;s performance and closing ceremony were held in the Commemorative Area which was illuminated with special lighting in the Honour Roll cloisters and behind the stained glass windows of the Hall of Memory while the Eternal Flame flickered solemnly in the Pool of Reflection.<\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a title=\"AWM Twilight closing\u00a017_01_08\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-175\" href=\"http:\/\/fffaif.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/21\/twilight-at-australian-war-memorial-canberra\/awm-twilight-closing-17_01_08\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fffaif.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/awm-twilight.jpg\" alt=\"AWM Twilight closing\u00a017_01_08\" \/><\/a>\u00a0 <a title=\"AWM twilight _\u00a0bugler\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-177\" href=\"http:\/\/fffaif.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/21\/twilight-at-australian-war-memorial-canberra\/awm-twilight-_-bugler\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fffaif.files.wordpress.com\/2008\/01\/awm-twilight-_-bugler.jpg\" alt=\"AWM twilight _\u00a0bugler\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During January 2008 the Australian War Memorial\u00a0Canberra provided the opportunity on three occasions to visit the Memorial at twilight.
