It takes the form of bronze panels in the Memorial\u2019s Commemorative Area and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awm.gov.au\/research\/people\/roll_of_honour\/\" target=\"_blank\">Roll of Honour database<\/a>, which is accessible via the Memorial\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-5985\" href=\"http:\/\/fffaif.wordpress.com\/2009\/08\/18\/awm-honour-roll-photos\/awm-honour-roll_website\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-5985    aligncenter\" title=\"AWM Honour Roll_website\" src=\"http:\/\/fffaif.files.wordpress.com\/2009\/08\/awm-honour-roll_website.jpg\" alt=\"AWM Honour Roll_website\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">Photo: A section of the Australian War Memorial Honour Roll<br \/>\n[Chris Munro]<\/p>\n<p>In an ongoing project the Australian War Memorial wants to add to their collection of 6,600 photographs linked to the names on the Honour Roll.\u00a0 The Memorial&#8217;s website states &#8220;<em>The Memorial wants to find as many images of these men and women as possible, and is particularly interested in individual or family portraits.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Members of the <em>Families and Friends of the First AIF<\/em> are encouraged to contact the AWM if they have photos which they think would be suitable and\u00a0wish to have added to the collection. For details on the Honour Roll Photographic Project click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.awm.gov.au\/research\/people\/roll_of_honour\/photographs.asp\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\">*****<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color:#008000;\">The<strong><em> Families and Friends of the First AIF<\/em><\/strong> applauds\u00a0the joint Australian\u2013UK decision, announced by The Hon Greg Combet AM MP and the Hon Kevan Jones MP, to conduct a full DNA testing program on the remains of Australian and British soldiers found in mass graves at Pheasant Wood (Fromelles), and for their continuing commitment to identify as many of the fallen as is possible.
