Lambis was appointed a Member of The Order of Australia, within the General Division, for \u2018Service to the community through research and advocacy roles relating to Australian soldiers of the Great War buried in Fromelles, France\u2019 in the 2009 Queen\u2019s Birthday Honours List. For more details on Lambis\u2019 award see RECENT NEWS item: Lambis Englezos AM<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n *****<\/em><\/p>\n The Families and Friends of the First AIF <\/em><\/strong>applauds\u00a0the joint Australian\u2013UK decision, announced by The Hon Greg Combet AM MP and the Hon Kevan Jones MP, to conduct a full DNA testing program on the remains of Australian and British soldiers found in mass graves at Pheasant Wood (Fromelles), and for their continuing commitment to identify as many of the fallen as is possible.
