<\/a><\/p>\nMr Michael Tiddy, president of the Oatley Sub Branch of the RSL was the Master of ceremonies for the service attended by over 200 people.\u00a0 Representatives of the Returned and Services League of Australia from the State Council and Sub-Banches as well as Local Members from Commonwealth and State Governments and the Mayors of Kogarah and Hustville Council joined representaives of families of the soldiers on the Honour Roll, local service clubs and Oatley Scouts and Guides on a fine hot day.<\/p>\n

For details of the service click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n *****<\/p>\n The Families and Friends of the First AIF<\/em><\/strong> applauds\u00a0the joint Australian\u2013UK decision, announced by The Hon Greg Combet AM MP and the Hon Kevan Jones MP, to conduct a full DNA testing program on the remains of Australian and British soldiers found in mass graves at Pheasant Wood (Fromelles), and for their continuing commitment to identify as many of the fallen as is possible.
