John Laffin Memorial Lecture<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>The Families and Friends of the First AIF<\/em> will be holding the 8th<\/sup> Annual John Laffin Memorial Lecture on 4th<\/sup> July 2010. The Lecture is held in July each year to commemorate the founding of the FFFAIF by John Laffin. John proposed the creation of the Families and Friends of the First AIF (FFFAIF<\/em>), which is Dedicated to Digger Heritage<\/em>, at the opening of the Australian Corps Memorial Park at Le Hamel on 4th July 1998.<\/p>\n

Venue<\/em><\/strong>: Ashfield RSL 374 Liverpool Rd Ashfield (Sydney)<\/p>\n

Date<\/em>: Sunday 4th<\/sup> July 2010<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time<\/em><\/strong>: 10am – 2:30pm<\/strong> Club opens at 9am Meeting commences at 10.00am in the Cadillac Room, located on the ground floor.<\/p>\n

Speakers<\/em><\/strong>: Will Davies, FFFAIF member, tour guide and author will talk about his latest book Beneath Hill 60<\/strong><\/em>.
\nAnother guest speaker will\u00a0follow Will, however the identity of the speaker cannot be revealed until the morning of the lecture.\u00a0
\n\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cost<\/strong>: $10 per person includes entry, continuous tea or coffee and a light lunch to be served at midday.<\/p>\n
