By the end of the First World War over 400 000 Australians had volunteered to serve in the Australian Imperial Force. These volunteers both young and old came from all over Australia. They came from all walks of life. Many of their stories have laid untold for over 100 years.
Here you will find useful resources to guide you to unravelling a Digger’s story or a Nurses story and preserving their memory for future generations.
