 The John Laffin Memorial Lecture

 Saturday 15th September 2018   10:00 am to 3:30 pm

Several nearby car-parks offer an all-day rate of $20.

      Entry: $20 per head cash on the day
(and another $15 for catered sandwiches and refreshments if sufficient numbers).

 Three lectures with Q&A as follows:

‘The Battle of Le Hamel, 1918’, Lt. Col. Peter Sweeney, RFD.)

‘Repatriation arrangements and its impact on Australians after the war’, Nathaniel Sgambellone, recipient of the Monash University 2017 John Laffin Memorial Prize for Australian History.

‘Australian nurses in the Great War’, by Clare Ashton. FFFAIF Committee member Sue Tongue will join Clare to profile her grandmother, Sister Nell Pike, mother of John Laffin.
